This is a group of 30- and 40-something African-American professionals, who meet monthly, over good wine and good food, to discuss specific news items in politics, education, health, lifestyle, criminal justice or entertainment. The first discussion: the November cover story in The Atlantic magazine article on how the economy has affected sex and marriage.
There are so many legal issues around us that affect our daily life (obtaining a mortgage, insuring our cars, buying/selling real estate etc.), yet we know little about them.
